Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to all orders placed in the westwingoutlet online store, in the version valid at the time of the order. westwingoutlet is an authorised reseller of Westwing Collection. Deviating conditions are only recognised if we have expressly agreed to them in writing.

2. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of goods in the store is not a binding offer. By placing an order you make a binding offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when we accept your order in a separate confirmation e-mail. If an item is unavailable after your order, we will inform you without delay and refund any payment already made in full.

3. Prices and VAT

All prices are stated in euros and include 19% German VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately and transparently during the order process before you complete the purchase.

4. VAT-free orders for EU businesses

Business customers with a valid VAT identification number issued in an EU member state other than Germany can purchase VAT-free under the intra-Community supply rules (§ 4 no. 1b UStG). Use the code VAT19FREE at checkout and enter your company name and VAT ID; the VAT ID is verified before dispatch. Without a verified VAT ID the regular 19% VAT applies. German business customers are invoiced with VAT as usual, which is deductible as input tax.

5. Payment

The payment methods available to you are shown during checkout. The goods remain our property until payment has been received in full.

6. Delivery

We deliver worldwide. Shipping is charged at €35 within Europe and €50 for other destinations; from an order value of €500 the rate is €25, and from €1,500 it is €15. The exact amount is displayed at checkout before you complete the purchase. Outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are borne by the customer. 7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days under § 312g BGB. We voluntarily extend this period to 30 days. Details are set out in the Refund Policy.

8. Warranty

The statutory warranty rights apply, in particular a limitation period of 24 months from delivery (§ 438 BGB). In addition to the statutory rights above, every Westwing Collection piece sold here carries a voluntary 10-year guarantee from Westwing Collection against manufacturing and material defects under normal domestic use. The guarantee is granted on top of your statutory rights and does not limit them. It covers frames, solid-wood and metal structures and load-bearing parts; it does not cover normal wear of covers and surfaces, damage from misuse or improper assembly, or the natural variation of wood, stone, leather and textiles.

9. Assembly and installation

Furniture is supplied for self-assembly with the manufacturer's instructions where applicable. We do not offer an installation service. Please check the stated dimensions and the access route — doorways, stairs, lifts — before ordering. Tall furniture must be secured to the wall using the supplied anti-tip fittings; electrical work belongs in the hands of a qualified person.

10. Complaints

Please send complaints with your order number and photographs to info@westwingoutlet.de. We confirm receipt without undue delay and process every case within the statutory periods.

11. Applicable law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
